Bergamot Essential Oil Profile
This premium grade of Bergamot is a clean, balanced citrus oil, with a classic tangy-green top note. While typically very phototoxic, our bergamot essential oil has had its bergaptene content removed. This allows the bergamot essential oil to be used on both the skin and hair without concern for phototoxicity when exposed to the sun.
How to Use Bergamot Essential Oil
Direct Inhalation: Perhaps the simplest way to use bergamot oil is through inhalation. Place a few drops of this mood balancing oil in our Aroma Inhaler. You can use it repeatedly through your day for a feeling of clarification and inspiration. For a quick blend, do this with a drop of Geranium oil to discourage feelings of sadness or melancholy.
Diffuser: Bergamot is one of our favourite oils to keep tucked away by the diffuser as it blends well with almost any other oil — give it a try! It’s an aroma the whole family can enjoy including the children — they love it! Bergamot is a wonderful year-round aroma for creating a fresh, welcoming home.
